In Ahmedabad, the Ahmedabad Rural Police is setting up ‘Semicon Shield’ at Sanand GIDC-a Rs 15 crore Centre of Excellence to secure and support semiconductor clusters in Sanand and Dholera. The facility will feature a trained force, intelligence and Al labs, legal and IP support, and digital forensics, with completion expected within a year.
