Dholera Special Investment Region (DSIR) near Ahmedabad is being considered for a proposed aircraft manufacturing facility under the Adani Defence-Embraer partnership. The collaboration aims to set up an assembly line with increasing localisation to support India’s Regional Transport Aircraft (RTA) programme, aligned with the Aatmanirbhar Bharat and UDAN initiatives. Embraer said teams are currently working on site selection and new aircraft opportunities in India.
